Carrie Niesman, President

 

 
 
Carrie is currently serving as the 2016-2017 President of the Oswego Junior Women’s Club.  She joined the club in 2012, and has previously held the Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Vice President positions on the OJWC Executive Board.  Carrie has lived in the Oswego area for over 39 years, residing with her husband Brian and five sons, Steven(23), Michael (20), Jake (18), Joey (14) and Max (11).  Carrie has spent the last 9 years working at Old Second National Bank, and is currently Vice President Regional Manager for 6 branch locations.  She also serves as Secretary on the board of directors for the Oswego Chamber of Commerce as well as a Co-chair for the Ambassador Committee for both the Oswego Chamber and the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce, Committee member for the W2W (Women in Business) group in the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Secretary on the board of directors for Oswego Panther Youth Basketball Association.  “I am very involved in the community where I live and work through various business organizations I am currently involved with.  The main reason I joined OJWC is to be able to do something that I am passionate about through volunteering and giving back as much as I can to the community.  I am very thankful to have met a diverse group of women that share that same passion and are looking to help do “our part” to give back where we can.  I have met some amazing women in my 4 years in the club, and I am very excited to be able to serve as the President of OJWC this year, and I am equally excited to see what positive impact our club can bring to our community.


 
 

 
 Lisa Cornelius, Vice President





Lisa is the 2016-2017 Vice-President of the Oswego Junior Woman's Club. She joined OJWC in 2015 and received the Spark Plug Award for the 2015-2016 club year.  She has met many new people by joining the group and is looking forward to helping the new members feel as welcome as she did. She enjoys meeting new people and helping out in the local community. She enjoys working out, dancing, walking, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. She currently works at the Oswego Chamber of Commerce helping local businesses in the community. Lisa currently lives in Oswego with her son.




Kim Bradshaw, Corresponding Secretary

 

Kim is the Corresponding Secretary for the Oswego Junior Woman's Club for the 2016-2017 year, previously serving as the 2015-2016 Recording Secretary.  She has lived in Aurora for the past 16 years with her husband and two children, a daughter who attend Aurora University and a son who attends school in the Oswego District 308. Kim has a Bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a Masters in Health Administration from St. Louis University. She has spent the past 13 years at Ernst & Young.  In addition to her work with OJWC, she is also on the Board of Directors at Celebrate Differences, a not-for-profit organization that celebrates the abilities of those with disabilities.
 
 
 

 
 
Recording Secretary, Christina Wenzel
 
Christina is the 2016-2017 Recording Secretary of the Oswego Junior Woman's Club. She joined OJWC in 2014 and served as the Corresponding Secretary for the 2015-2016 club year.  She has enjoyed meeting many new people in the community through the club's work. This club year, she is interested in helping welcome new members and becoming more involved with volunteer opportunities within the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She is a former elementary school teacher who now is a stay-at-home mom. Christina and her husband Tim reside in Oswego with their two daughters.

Cally is the 2016-2017 Club Advisor for the Oswego Junior Woman's Club.  Her involvement with the Junior Woman's Clubs began in 2010 holding various committee chair positions and serving on OJWC's Executive Board as Recording Secretary, Vice President & President in recent years. Cally serves as the 2016-2018 GFWC Illinois Board of Directors Junior Membership Chair.  Cally is a private consultant for the P&C insurance industry and resides with her husband Ryan and "fur kid" Chipper in Plainfield.
